I came to Campbell River 40 years ago with a young family, an established career in photography and journalism, and a mission to become part of a growing community -after coming from the old world of Montreal, family expectations, and Quebec politics.

After establishing my reputation with the local weekly newspapers, I went into business as a commercial and portrait photographer and successfully pursued that career for 30 years. I couldn't have asked for a better community and area to have spent the better part of my life in! I feel privileged to be able to retire here, and enjoy even more the people and unique features of this area.

The temperate (and sometimes damp) Coast rarely exceeds a comfortable range -and we are usually able to pursue interests from golf, to fishing, to sailing, to camping just about all year! My retirement activities include scenery and wildlife (digital) photography, shared via computers and the internet. Where better to do this than from Campbell River?
